Discipleship Groups are designed to give students an opportunity to get closer to each other and talk about what God is doing in their lives. Groups are grade and gender specific so that students are comfortable sharing. We believe that students grow deeper in small groups through studying God’s Word. Our D-groups are led by awesome men and women who give freely and invest in the lives of teenagers. D-Groups allow students to study God’s Word, pray, and encourage one another.

Middle School D-Groups meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00am in the Fellowship Hall. Adults and high school students on our high school leadership team lead the students. Games and Bible Study!

High School D-Groups meet on Wednesday evenings in homes and on campus. Email tbraswell@fbcfm.com for specific group times and locations.

Serving
We want our students to learn what it means to be a servant from an early age. Every year our students can serve at Vacation Bible School (VBS) for the children in the Summer. In addition to this, our students serve at a local event every summer called Engage Fort Mill. During Engage Fort Mill, our students serve our schools by helping teachers and administration get ready for the school year. Students need to learn what it means to serve before they become adults. We don’t want our students to fall into the trap of thinking they are the church of tomorrow because we want them to realize they are a part of the church today and can serve now. We also go on mission trips within the United States and around the world. Mission trips get students out of their comfort zone where they are spending time helping others and sharing the gospel.
