2023 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE RECOGNITION
Saturday, May 20, 5:00 p.m. in the Worship Center
Following the recognition, graduates and immediate family are invited to a meal in the Fellowship Hall. If you are the parent of a graduating senior or a graduate, there are a few things you need to do in preparation for this special night. Please email Diane for information.We will recognize our 2023 graduating seniors followed by a meal in the Fellowship Hall for the graduates and immediate family. If you are the parent of a graduating high school senior, there are a few things you need to do.

If your senior can only attend the service or the meal, please let us know so we can include him/her in that event. If your student does not want to participate in the graduation recognition, please let Diane know and she will remove you from the distribution list.

PICTURES
We need 3-5 pictures of just your graduate throughout the years. Three pictures will be shown Saturday evening before the service. All submitted pictures will be shown in the Fellowship Hall.

• We would like an infant/toddler picture and a senior picture. The other three pictures can be from any age.
• Pictures can be dropped off at the office or in the lock box to Diane’s attention or given to Taylor Sunday nights. (Place pictures in an envelope with the student’s full name on each picture and on the outside of the envelope. The pictures will be returned to you.)
• Pictures can be scanned electronically (individually) as jpegs to Diane.
• Deadline is Friday, May 5, but submitting photos early will be appreciated.

MEAL
We will have a meal for the graduates and their families following the service in the Fellowship Hall. This is for immediate family members only – parents, siblings, grandparents. Please let Diane know the number, including the graduate, of people who will attend. Deadline is Friday, May 12. 

We are so excited to celebrate our seniors this year!

On Sunday, May 21, a video will play in both services to recognize our students.

To be included in this video, please sign up for your student to film with Taylor on Sunday, April 24, Sunday, May 1, or Sunday, May 8 by contacting Taylor at tbraswell@fbcfm.com

Your student will meet Taylor in the lobby at 10am on the Sunday he/she has signed up for.

For their video, they will say their name, where they graduated from, and what is next for them. For example, “My name is Taylor Braswell, I graduated from Butler High School, and I will be attending UNC Charlotte.”
