First Baptist Church believes that loving others in Jesus' name is a challenge and an opportunity for all God's children. The Holy Spirit has given gifts to each Christian to use in service to others and to build up the church (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).
If you are hurting, know someone who is struggling, or if you would like to serve others, FBC has a variety of caring ministries to explore.
Stephen Ministry
Our Stephen Ministry exists to glorify God by equipping God’s people to share Christ’s love through one-to-one distinctly Christian care to individuals who are experiencing life’s challenges and difficulties.
We remain connected to our homebound members through routine visits from deacons, members, and pastoral staff. If you have a passion for ministry to this segment of our church, please contact Pastor Matt or call the church office at (803) 547-2051.
Grieving the loss of a loved one, family or close friend? Join our GriefShare group and find encouragement, help, and biblical guidance during this season.
Are you a church member who needs help around the house? Call the church at 803-547-2051 to learn how our Small Jobs Team can assist you!

Our church partners with A.A. (Alcoholics Anonymous), N.A. (Narcotics Anonymous) and Al-Anon. Please call our church office at 803-547-2051 to get more information on these support groups.
