We were designed by God to make a Contribution, not just to consume.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:” (1 Peter 4:10)

Important Question: How do I know where I can best serve God by serving others?

My best place of service will flow out of my relationship with Christ and my unique design.

Discovering My God Given D.E.S.I.G.N.

D - Desire

“For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13, ESV)

S – Spiritual Gifts

God given abilities given to each of God’s children so that together we can advance His purposes in the world.

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.” (1 Corinthians 12:4–7, ESV)

“All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.” (1 Corinthians 12:11, ESV)

I – Individual Style

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” (Psalm 139:13–14, ESV)

G – Growth Phase

N – Natural Abilities

“I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship,” (Exodus 31:3, ESV)
