Blood Drive at FBC
September 16, 2020
9:00am – 2:00pm
All it takes is a little of your time, and you can save lives. OneBlood will hold a blood drive in the rear FBC parking lot on Confederate Street. Participants will practice social distancing by waiting in their cars. They will receive a text when it is their turn to give.
All donors will receive two pairs of OneBlood Cancer Awareness Socks! Plus, a wellness checkup including COVID-19 antibody test, blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening!
September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and cancer patients are the largest users of blood products. OneBlood is the primary supplier for Levine Cancer Institute and Levine Children’s Hospital.
Appointments are critically important to control the number of people on the bloodmobile at one time and help them prepare for the drive.
