
Pastor’s Prayer Partners
A prayer ministry open to all men. These men agree to pray regularly for the pastor and staff, as well as other men who are their prayer partners. Once a month men join with others on their team to pray together during one of our Morning Worship Services. Contact: Karen Morrow
C.A.R.E. Ministry
C.A.R.E. is our effort to reach out with the love and truth of Jesus Christ to those with ministry needs within the church family, to those who have been recently visiting our church fellowship and to the community. We seek to minister to needs and share information about Jesus Christ and our church family through several avenues which include prayer, writing, phone calls and home visits. C.A.R.E. Corner is located in the lower Worship Center, where you can access recent prayer and encouragement requests and greeting cards. Contact: Angie Hayman
Media Center
Our media staff is comprised of a variety of talents, ranging from familiarity with books and library science to creativity in keeping the media center resources publicized, to computer skills. The minimal training needed on the computer system does not require a computer expert -- just a willing learner. Contact: Karen Adams or Jonna Storms
General Office Volunteers
Office volunteers are people who assist the administrative office workers by answering the phones, calling members to remind them of meetings, stuffing envelopes, mailing out fliers, folding or stuffing worship folders or weekly newsletters, and general office duties. Contact: Kathy Greene
Flower Ministry
This group is responsible for securing, arranging and disposing of floral arrangements for all regular and special services. Contact: Karen Morrow
Baptism Ministry
This group is responsible for making the necessary arrangements and preparations for the administration of the Ordinance of Baptism. Contact: Karen Morrow
Lord’s Supper Ministry
This group is responsible for preparing the elements for use in the administration of the Ordinance of the Lord’s Supper as well as making sure the trays are properly cleaned and stored. Contact: Kathy Greene
Good Shepherd Ministry
This group’s duties include overseeing ministry in times of bereavement to members or church families who are without close ties to the Sunday School. Contact: Karen Morrow
Counting Ministry
This group meets each Monday mornings at 9:30 to count the tithes and offerings collected on Sunday. Contact: Kathy Greene
Adult Bible Fellowship (Sunday School) Teacher
Overseer of class who plans and prepares Bible lessons to be taught each Sunday morning. The teacher is also responsible modeling the Christian life through regular visitation of class members and prospects. A teacher is also responsible for the recruitment and development of leaders within the class. Contact: Shannon Ford
Sunday Morning Greeters
These are volunteers who greet visitors and guests outside in the parking lots or at the doors of the church and direct them to the Welcome Center or to the Worship Center. Contact: Andrew Limbaugh
Welcome Center Volunteers
Volunteers assist people with information about various ministries and directions to preschool, children, youth, or adult Sunday school rooms. Contact: Andrew Limbaugh
Worship Center Ushers
Ushers are volunteers who greet guests who come into the Worship Center. They assist guests by helping them to find a place to sit and provide them with a worship folder. The ushers also gather the morning offering during each worship service. Contact: Andrew Limbaugh
Building Upkeep
People who volunteer to assist in minor painting, building repairs as needed or to offer minor repairs to homes of members who are unable to secure someone or financially afford someone to assist them. Contact: John Phillips
Prison Ministry
“The Bill Glass Prison Ministry” affords men and women the opportunity to be equipped to participate in national and international “Champions for Life” ministry by visiting prisons over several weekends during the year, as well as visiting and ministering in local prisons.
