Average hours will be 10-15 hours per week, and can be flexible.
Responsibilities will include assistance with some activity preparation for the Sunday classes, some stage design and creation, stocking of classroom supplies, attending Camp KidJam as a chaperone with rising 4th-6th graders June 13-16, and other weekly organizational tasks as assigned.
Start date will be May 30 and end date will be Aug. 6.
If interested, please email Amy Armeni at firstname.lastname@example.org
Families with children (Infants through 5th graders) will receive some extra attention on Sunday morning! There are environments designed just for your child(ren) that will engage them in age-appropriate activities and lessons: First World for infant-4 years and Uptown for k-5th grade. We are excited to have the opportunity to meet your family and to spend some Bible-teaching time with your kids. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and assisted in a registration process prior to dropping off your child on Sunday morning.
Be sure to "like" our page with the blue heart ... you'll get daily FBC Children's Ministry updates, first-to-know information, encouragement, reminders, highlights, and occasional giveaways!!
Many of our FBC kids have a variety of individual needs and we value having updated information from parents so that we can best care for and be in ministry with all children. If there are things about your child that are important for us to know, please select one or both forms to complete. Someone from our First Aid Team or Special Needs Team will be in touch with you soon for a personal contact and greeting.
Both of our Children’s Ministry Halls are Lanyard Secure Areas. All adults must wear a lanyard identifying their reason for being on the hall. You’ll see fun tie-dye lanyards worn by volunteers and you will receive an orange lanyard that will also serve as your pick-up ID when you return for your child.
**Note: When families attend First Baptist Church on a regular basis, we encourage children to worship with their parents beginning in the Kindergarten year. This works great when parents are attending a class or serving one hour and attending worship service a second hour.
FBC is also home to the Fort Mill Mother's of Preschoolers group (MOPS).
