Sam Treadaway
Bio:  My wife Rebecca and I moved to Fort Mill over 8 years ago. We have been at First Baptist for several years. It was the first church we visited in the area and we felt right at home. We already had a few friends here and quickly made more. We have two married children - a son, Wes, married to Amanda, lives in Greensboro and a daughter Jenny, married to Heath Cartee, lives in Boiling Springs, NC. I serve on the Adult Choir leadership team. Rebecca and I are serving in the infant room in the nursery on a PRO Team, getting grandparent training. I'm in my first year as a deacon at First Baptist. I served several terms as a deacon in our former church. I taught Sunday School in different age groups, worked with the youth group a number of years, the RA's, and served on various committees. I am the General Manager for Fort Mill based Austin Company.

Testimony:  I accepted Christ as Lord and Savior as a young child. God has shown me far more mercy and grace than I will ever deserve. I have always found God to be more than sufficient in all the challenges that life throws at you, no matter what the circumstances. I have learned that He grows us far more during the trials than the easy times. He is always faithful to me; even when I fall short He welcomes me back when I prayerfully seek His will. I've been a believer a long time but I'm still learning about God. The more I learn the more I marvel at His love for us.
